Silica Sand:

Unimin mines quartz-rich rock and sandstone deposits throughout North America to produce industrial silica sand. These silicon dioxide resources run the gamut of mineralogical complexity from mature and nearly pure quartz concentrations to geologically "new" feldspathic sands. High purity SiO2 is an essential chemical component in glass, ceramic and silicate manufacture and a durable structural element in a wide range of building products, filtration and energy service applications.

Here at Websters we offer a wide range of Silica from different Manufatures. The silica is mined in Canada and the United States, it also comes in a wide range of shapes and sizes, from corse to 200 mesh flour, as well as angular shaped or rounded. This high purity quartz silica is packaged in 50 Lbs, 88 Lbs and 100 Lbs bags, depending on your location and needs.

Silica Sand 4010

Silica Flour
Our SIL-CO-SIL® Ground Silica products are produced from high purity silica powder, precision ground from 250 to 5 micron topsize. Our ground silicas are inherently inert, bright white, with low moisture and are at least 99.5% Si02. SIL-CO-SIL’s properties improve coating hardness, chemical resistance, resin demand and dispersibility.

Nepheline Syenite: (White Lightning)

Unimin mines a light-colored metamorphic rock deposit in Canada to produce nepheline syenite. This important ore body, composed of nepheline with subordinate amounts of albite and microcline, yields a complex aluminum silicate with valuable physical, chemical and optical properties. Nepheline syenite lowers the melt temperature of many industrial processes for energy savings, and can be further modified to produce functional fillers for paint, powder coatings and plastics.

Crushed Nickel Slag: (Black Shot II)

Black Shot II sandblasting slag is a blend of crushed nickel slag produced as a by-product of nickel smelters and a smaller amount of water quenched coal slag produced as a by-product of coal fired generating stations. This extremely inert iron silicate is angular, with an optimal bulk density that makes it an excellent sandblast abrasive with superior cleaning and cutting capabilities.

Crushed Glass

Crushed glass is an alternate for blasting. It is good for thin or thick coats of metal, aluminium and brass. This process is not toxic, and carries virtually no silica. Crushed glass is good for the removal of: paint, epoxy, vinyl and more...
